Mini's to the MAX

Hello friends! This weekend I attended a Mini Cooper rally. My friend owns one so I was invited to go. With camera in hand, I was in hawg heaven snapping pics and talkin' with these Mini Cooper fanatics. Personally, I'm a Willy's Jeep girl, so I understand the heart of the car fanatic. Chevy's, Fords, Mini's, Willys - same love, different model. I'll be downloading some pics for your pleasure.

These are cute little cars. Like driving a matchbox car, the actual size of a matchbox car too, but they can be very powerful little machines with the only ones who possess 'artificial intelliigence'. Oops, did I spell INTELLIGENCE wrong? Can't see with this yellow on white! I will detail out more on this artificial intelligence in another entry, because fancy as this color may look on black, on white it sucks.....ADIOS FOR NOW..

Run for your Life

Happy Spring to all in this hemisphere, and Happy Autumn to the other hemisphere. I'm at work at Pam's Fitness First now so can't write a long post. Just want to remind everyone with a body to EXERCISE, yes, run for your life, walk, lift weights, and love doing it, don't view it as a chore like taking out trash. Love your body and the abilities you have, even if they seem limited to you. The buzz word is SEEMs, as nothing really is as it seems. It's all illusional, but don't be delusional, be grounded, the earth is a magnificient being as is the sky, and we connect the two through standing upright. So much fear based media bombardment has everyone right where 'they' want them...hopeless and feeling helpless. In a time where everyone is unemployed I have gotten three jobs. Not glorified career jobs, nothing utilizing my art, writing or photography skills, just good old fashioned cleaning. I am grateful that at least I get paid for my domestic services instead of providing them for free for an ungrateful, unappreciative husband who doesn't even notice.

I have hereby banned news from blaring at the gym while everyone works out. I tell them that they are here to become empowered and strong, not dis-empowered by being pounded with all the lies, exaggerations and mostly, what they DON'T tell us in news programs. We now watch cartoons, I LOVE LUCY, Bios, history & Desperate Housewives. I still play head banger music for the guys in the free weight section.

I'm also amused by them pounding us with fear over 'the worst drought California will have' and in the same sentence, tell us that the rain is "bad" or "nasty" weather. Work out, eat healthy, think good thoughts, don't watch the news.
